The studio name was inspired by the 1911 painting Yellow Cow from Franz Marc. Franz Marc (1880-1916) was an expressionist painter who thought that one should paint things how they feel, not just portray the actual image. Yellow Cow Studio translates that approach into helping clients find creative answers inspired by how their product or business makes their customers feel and connect with the world.
